Our solid polycarbonate external roller shutters are an innovative combination of elegance, functionality, and security. The transparent polycarbonate armour allows for natural light to illuminate the interior, while at the same time providing exceptional mechanical strength and resistance to adverse weather conditions. Thanks to aluminium profiles that connect the polycarbonate panels, the structure is stable, and the drive system (automatic or manual) guarantees ease of use.

  • Transparency and visual comfort
    Polycarbonate transmits up to ~90% of light, allowing the interior to remain bright and providing a clear view of the outside, without compromising on safety.
  • Exceptional durability and resilience
    The material is approximately 250 times more impact-resistant than glass, making the shutters resistant to vandalism, wind, or severe shocks.
  • Weather resistance
    Polycarbonate does not yellow under UV radiation, and a protective coating safeguards it from degradation. The material withstands a wide temperature range (from –40°C to +120°C).
  • Energy efficiency
    Shutters help with thermal insulation: in winter they reduce heat loss, in summer they reduce room heating, and the reflection of solar rays and natural lighting reduce energy consumption for heating, air conditioning, and artificial light.
  • Security
    The system provides protection from UV radiation, wind, and rain. Reinforced versions can serve as an anti-burglary barrier, enhancing building security.

Our roller blinds consist of several key components:

  1. Reel tube box – conceals a rolled-up curtain, providing an aesthetic appearance and protecting the mechanism.
  2. Polycarbonate profile curtain – thin polycarbonate panels are joined by aluminium profiles with a special cross-section, which strengthens the structure and gives it transparency.
  3. Vertical guides – they guide the curtain during opening and closing, providing stability and smooth movement.
  4. Locking system – the bottom bar secures the roller shutter in the closed position, preventing it from being lifted by wind or unauthorised action.
